The final day at Exeter

As my bus back home was leavng at quater past 4 in the aternoon,

we got up early and visited this town called Totnes, 40 minutes away from Exeter by train.

According to Joe, this town is supposed to be a town of hippies.

But  'you could never tell whether someone is a hippie or not, they hide that they are hippies'

Joe said.  Joe says strange things sometimes.

On arriving, we looked around in the market place

Old books, toys, flowers, clothes, various things on offer

There were many things I wanted to buy, like wooden ducks, but thought I better becareful with money as it was running out.

After that, walked around the city centre, going inside from shop to shop.

There was an antique shop and I found an original copy of the Times newspaper published in 1844 and bought one for souvenir.

Joe led me to this cake shop, where they sold some scrumptious fudges

Having that for snack, we still found ourselves hungry, so decided to have a proper lunch.

Bought some curry pasties at a bakery and picnicked by the canal.

We took the train when we came, but decided to take the bus home to save some money.

This bus ride happened to be the best bus ride in my life - it's useless to describe, you have to see it.

It was already past three when we got back

Quickly I packed and barely made it in time and left the beautiful city of Exeter.

It was only three days, but I think I could never forget this trip.

Joe is leaving England in two weeks to work in Japan.

I wonder when I will next see him, in how many years.

And I wonder,

what I will be doing by then ...
