Work from 8
with Beth today. She was complaining incessantly with her strong
Australian accent about work
and life in
general. She swears a lot too, to which I could only nod - so I
was nodding like mad all morning.
Finished work
at 4 and decided to wash my uniform by hand (which I always do) and, as
I'm working tomorrow morning,
had to dry it using the machine (there goes my
precious 80 pence! boo hoo hoo).
While waiting
at the Lawrence Tower lounge for my uniform to dry up, I was watching
this music channel and it was
showing some
oldies. Whitney Huston, reminded me of my youth when I was in
elementary school. This song was
such a boom,
even in Japan, that every student was singing it everywhere but they,
including me, had not the
slightest idea
what she was saying. So eveybody just tried to mimic her (even
her facial expressions !) and to
sing the best
they could which was so hilarious a sight.
Listening to this song again, she happend to be
only
saying ' and I ', streching a 'bit' Boy, I couldn't stop laughing.
