ビジネスゲームのプレゼンが遂に終わった。
この大学に来てから初めて授業をサボり、朝からひたすら練習。
しかし何度やっても規定の１５分を超えてしまう。
削りに削ったあげく、ラスト・トライでなんとか時間内に収める。
「こんなので大丈夫なのだろうか」と不安を抱きながら、午後４時２０分から本番。
終了時間５分前に番がまわってくる。ギリギリの時間帯だ。
「えーこのデータに基づいた損益分岐点は．．．」
「２年目、３年目は１００億ポンド以上の利益が予想されます．．．」
自分でも段々と言葉が早口になってきているのが分かった。
なんとか終了ギリギリ５秒前に終えることができた。
皆ホット一息。
コーラで軽く打ち上げしました。
Finished the business game presentation at last.
Skived some classes for the first time since I came to this Uni, and practise from the morning.
No matter how many times we try, it goes over the 15 min time limit.
We cut and cut our speech and in the final go, we made it withing the time.
But that was only a practise. The presentation was from 16:20.
My turn came 5 min before the end.
"according to these data our breakeven point is ..."
"we forecast a large increase in our profit to above ..."
I felt the time running out so close to my skin,
I can hear my speech becoming faster and faster every second.
But we managed to finish it five seconds before the time limit.
How relieved we were.
Went to the pub and had a quick drink of coke for celebration.
