朝、今日は街の中心街にあるメソディスト教会にいってみた。
かなり大きな教会で、たくさんの人と交わりの時をもてた。
Michiの実家は偶然にも、僕の母教会がある荻窪だった。
さらにMichiの近所には、職場で向かい側に座っている、デービット住んでいるらしい。
偶然に偶然が重なるとはこういうことね。
午後、プラント君に新しい土と肥料を買ってきてあげた。最近弱っていたんだ。
晩飯の後に様子を確かめてみると、ポパイがオリーブをブルートの手から守るために
ほうれん草を一缶飲み干した直後ぐらい元気になっていた。
さて明日からまた仕事だ。
Sunday
In the morning, went to a methodist church near the city centre.
It was quite a large church and I got to meet a lot of people.
Michi, a Japanese lady, was coincidentally from Ogikubo, where I used to go to church in Tokyo.
What is more, her neighbor was D.S, who sits 1 metre away from me in my office.
I bought a new soil and some plant food for my dear Mr. Plant as he was weakening these days.
I checked how he was doing after dinner, and he was already as vigorous as Popeye right after
he ate a can of spinach, fighting against Brute for his girlfriend Olive.
Right, back to work from tomorrow.
