午後２時半から、会計学の授業。
午後は、明日「あると思っていた」某自動車会社のテストの準備。
「あると思っていた」というのも、なんと自分が知らぬ間に「今年はインターンシップやりません」みたいなことになっていた。
メールも電話も何も来なかった。
今日は一日中明日の準備に時間を費やしたというのに。
ワイシャツを洗濯して、乾燥機にかけて、アイロンまでかけたのに！
アイロンまで！
アイロンなんて、イギリスに来てから一度もかけたことがなかったのよ！なかったのよ！
腹が立つったらありゃしない。
シェフィールドまでのチケットも既に購入済みだったので、
正式な抗議文を今書いて送った。
「どうしてキャンセルにしたのか理由を教えてください。それとチケット代１８．７５ポンドを弁償してください」ってね。
あーもう! 二度とアイロンなんてかけまい！
Tuesday
Had a financial accounting lecture from two thirty.
I was preparing all day for the test session which "I thought" was tomorrow.
Life sucks sometimes.
This car manufacturing company invited me to a test session about two weeks ago.
But they had cancelled the whole internship scheme all together, which I hadn't been notified thank you very much!
They didn't even e-mail me nor did they call me, I had to "proactively" go to their website and find it out myself!
Today, I even washed my shirt, dried it and even ironed it!
Yeah, I actually ironed it, for the first time since I came to Britain.
Since I suffered an actual economic loss (not to mention mental damage), for I already had my train ticket purchased, I wrote a formal complaint.
In a "please explain to me like I'm a three year old why you cancelled this scheme and give me back my money" sort of tone.
Arrrrh, so irritating. I will never iron a shirt in my life again, tell you that.
