朝気が付いたら、財布に20ペンスしか入ってなかった。
銀行口座を調べると、この前大学からもらった小切手がまだ振り込まれられてない。
しょうがないので、今日は歩いていける教会に行くことにした。
バーミンガム・クリスチャン・センターは大学から歩いて15分。ちょうど街の中心にある。
クリスチャン・ユニオンの友達に何人か会えるかなあと思って来たものの、その大きさにびっくり。
2階が礼拝堂になっていて、中に入るとすでに賛美が始まっていた。
そのパワーといったら半端じゃない。下手なロックコンサートよりも熱気があるんじゃないかと思った。
3百人は超えていたような気がする。
礼拝もITを駆使していて、前に3台、後ろの壁に1台と計4台もの、プロジェクターを用いて、賛美の言葉とかを映していた。
本当に色んな教会があるんだなあと思った。パワーをもらいました。
午後は週に一度の、聖書の学び会。
今日は大学の友達のMASAも誘った。
創世記の一章を学んだ。

In the morning, I realised that there's only twenty pence in my wallet.
The cheque that I cashed in two days ago hasn't been deposited yet.
Upon facing this cash crisis, I decided to go to a different church today, within the walking distance.
I always wanted to go to the Birmingham Christian Centre.
I was hoping to see someone from the Christian Union but this church was too big to do the searching activity.
When I went inside, I saw this guy on stage singing and dancing.
Yeah, I was amazed about the energy and the power of this church.
Overall, the service was good, good sermon.
Went to the bible study class, invited Masa to join as well.
Studied the first chapter of Genesis.
