Checked out from Earl's Court Youth Hostel at nine and met the two at ten.

Went to the British Museum first.

Kenji brought his digital video recorder with him.

He stopped here and there, leaving his comments to make it interesting to watch.

"so here we are at the British Museum" just like that.

Saw the Rosetta Stone and came out.  I bet the builder of this museum would be shocked.

Took the tube to Leicester Square as our next target was the "Sunflower" in the National Gallery.

Climbed up the lion i the Trafalgar Square.  Was quite scary.

Kenji quite liked the "Sunflower".

But most of the times, we were chatting in the gallery, on a nice comfortable sofa, Turner's drainwings infront of us.

Walked to the Picadilly Circus from there.

On our way, Kenji lost two quid on a slot machine.

"We could have bought a value set at Mcdonald's damn it" said Shinji.

"Shut up, I enjoyed the thrill" retorted Kenji.  They were always fighting like this.

Shinji wanted to buy some tea so I brought him to Fortnum and Masons.

We cut through the Green Park to the Buckingham Palace.

"It's a normal building" said Kenji.

"I told you so" retorted Shinji.

Cut through the St.James Park to see the Big Ben.

"Do you know what 'Ben' stands for" said Shinji

"Ummm"

"'Benjamin' you stupid"

Then we took the tube again to see the Tower Bridge.

Rain was pouring and the weather was just too miserable, so we took a break at Cafe Nero.

Here, Kenji set off a fire alarm in the toilet, thinking it would "flush".

Tower Bridge was quite beautiful.

We agonised so much over what to eat for dinner.

We went as far as entering into this posh looking Italian restaurant.

But somehow ended up in Subway -after all we are still students.

I ordered a footlong steak and cheese sandwich.

In the evening, went to the same pub as yesterday.

We talked and talked.

They are graduating this month and starting their work from the beginning of April.

I don't know when I'll see them next, perhaps a year or two.

I do hope you remain the way you are.

And good luck with your new job!

See ya!
