ソフィーは大学の課題と仕事探しで忙しそうだった。
グレッグは、大学を辞めてニューヨークに行くらしい。

Came to Birmingham.
Met up with Sophie and Grigory and went out for tea in the city centre.
We talked a lot, trying to catch up with things.
Sophie seemed to be busying herself with Uni coursework and job hunting.
Grigory surprised us by saying that he's going to live in New York,
transferring his job and university and all.
You're always full of surprises Grigory.
夜７時から、Ｙの場所でディナー・パーティをした。
Yが頑張ってアストン大学で勉強している日本人を集めてくれた。
どの料理もおいしかった。

In the evening, went to the dinner party at Y's place.
Y did a great job in gathering a lot of Japanese studying at Aston.
Everybody brought in some food, which were all so nice.
