仕事後、エミリーとアンドゥリューのさよならディナーパーティーをした。
アンドゥリューは１年間のインターンを明日で終え、一週間後から大学がすぐ始まるらしい。
彼には色々仕事を教えてもらって、お世話になった。
エミリーは職場から一年間離れて、世界一周旅行に行くそうだ。
日本にもいく予定らしいので、「外国人が大好きな」京都に是非行くようにお勧めしておいた。
イッツ・ア・スモール・ワールドって言うじゃん。
きっとまたどこかで会うと思う。
Went to the good bye party for Andrew and Emily after work.
Andrew will be finishing his one year placement tomorrow and going back to uni in a week.
I learnt lots of things from him and I'm very thankful for that.
Emily is taking a year off work and going to travel around the world.
She said she'll be stopping by at Japan, so I recommended her to go to Kyoto, where all the 'foreigners' go.
They say 'it's a small world'.
We shall meet again someday!
