午後３時までナショナル・ギャラリーで過ごす。
写真家トム・ハンターの「Living in Hell and Other Stories」という展示を観た。
彼はルネサンスの絵画をもとに写真を構成する。
どうせ誰も信じてくれないだろうけれど、僕も同じようなことを考えていた。
ちょっとうれしく、ちょっと悲しい。
ああ、僕もユニット２のテーマがはやく決まらないだろうか。
何かこう、首が吹っ飛ぶような斬新なアイデアが転がっていないだろうか。
午後３時過ぎに、大英博物館でYと待ち合わせる。
博物館の中をぶらぶらと歩きながら、お互い近況報告をする。
５時に博物館をでる。Yは友達と晩飯を食べる予定だったので、ここでお別れ。
レスター・スクウェアで、ロバート・キャパの本があって、
買う寸前のところまでいったけど、今回はなんとかこらえた。今月の予算はとっくにオーバーしてるからね。
ウォータールー駅まで歩きながら、夜の街の写真をたくさん撮った。
僕のテーマはまだ、「アウト・オヴ・フォーカス」です。
Spent most of the day in the National Gallery.
I saw a photographic exhibition called 'Living in Hell and Other Stories' by Tom Hunter.
He takes photographs based on Renaissance paintings.
Nobody will believe me, but his ideas and mine were very similar; which was interesting in a sense but not very interesting in another sense...
I feel trapped.
I wish I had some groundbreaking and head-flying ideas.
I met Y from three at the British Museum.
We talked about random stuffs in random galleries such as 'medieval tiles and pottery' or
sometimes as random as 'Money and Medals' (actually, this wasn't that random).
At five, we got out of the Museum, Y said he's meeting some girl friend (one word or two separate words I don't know).
I went to Leicester Square; I was so close from buying Robert Capa's book but my budget was too tight.
Took a lot of night photographs on my way to Waterloo.
Damn it, my vision is still slightly, if not totally, 'out of focus'.
