再び、ケヴィンとジョーと一緒に、仕事後サイクリングに行った。
今日は、ジョーがマウンテンバイクを貸してくれたので、オフロードをいった。
やはり、オフロードのほうが、舗装された道路よりも楽しい。
午後６時半に、ケヴィンの家の裏から出発。
素晴らしい天気だった。
Went cycling again with Kevin and Jo after work.
Jo lent me her mountain bike today so we went off-road cycling, which is more exciting (and bumpy) than normal on-the-road cycling.
We started from six thirty from the back of Kevin's house as usual.
The day was beautiful, perfect day for cycling.
オフロードは楽しいけれど、しっかりと前を見ていないと、痛い目に会う。
木の根っこや、デコボコ道が多いので、注意していないと、ずっこける。
この、丘をあがるのは結構つらかった。しかし上からの景色は最高だった。
Yeah, off-road is great, but you have to stay cautious and look where you're going all the time, otherwise you'll stumble.
Going up this hill was quite tough, but the view was nice from the top.
この丘から、くだり坂を走っている途中、ジョーがずっこけた（頭から吹っ飛んだ）。
ものすごい転び方だったので、少し心配したが、擦り傷ですんだので二人でほっと安心。
Going downhill from here, Jo actually tripped, she went flying head-on.
We worried for her, we thought she might have broken her arm or something, as it was such a violent clash,
but luckily, she didn't hurt herself that badly, few scratches.
今日も、ラベンダー畑の横を走る。
先週よりも少し色が褪せていたが、それでも綺麗だった。
このラベンダー畑は何のためにあるのだろう。
シャンプーでも作るんだろうか、あのハーバル・エッセンスっていうシャンプーにたしかラベンダーってのもあった気がする。 （実は今使っている）
一万個分は軽くあるだろう。
もしくは、単に蜂のえさだったりして。
蜂をたっぷりと太らせて、蜂蜜を作る。
一万個分は軽くあるだろう。
それほど、たいしたラベンダー畑だった。
We went passed the lavendar field again.
The colour looked slightly dull than last week, but it was still beautiful.
I wonder what they do with all these lavendars, maybe they'll make a shampoo out of it,
you know one of those Herbal Essence shampoos, I'm using it now.
I bet you can make ten thousand Herbal Essence shampoors with all these lavendars, I'm telling you.
Or could be that they are just feeding the bees.
You know, feed the bees, make them fat and collect honey.
I bet there's enough lavendars to feed 3 million bees worth ten thousand honey bins, I'm telling you.
That's how impressed I was to see all these lavendars.
森の中を突っ走る。
森の中で写真を撮るのはそろそろやめたほうがいい。
そのうち、絶対に転ぶ。
でも、スリルは抜群だ。
Through the woods we went.
I should stop taking photos in the woods, otherwise, I'll trip and hurt myself.
But I love the thrill.
ケヴィンの家に辿りつくつぐ前で、ジョーが再びこける。
今日は、ジョーは運がついてなかったようだ。
ケヴィンの家に着いたのは、９時過ぎ。
今日は１４マイルほど走った。
Just before we got back to Kevin's house, Jo tripped again. It was an unlucky day for Jo.
By the time we reached the house, it was already nine o'clock.
We cycled for about 14 miles today.
疲れていたので、ケヴィンの家で少し休憩。紅茶をいただいた。
猫に挨拶。かわいいやつだった。
We were tired and Kevin made us cups of tea.
I met one of Kevin's cats, I forgot her/his name.
She/he was cute.
さて、実は今日仕事で大きなミスをしてしまい、まだ完全に解決していないので、
明日どうなることやら。
サイクリングしてしばらく忘れることができてよかった。
なんとかなるさ。
It was a nice ride.
I actually made a big mistake in work today which is still not totally resolved.
It was nice to go cycling and forget about it for a while.
Let see what happens tomorrow.
