This is called an alpaca.

It's not a giraffe, not a pony, a-l-par-ca.

It's an animal who travelled from Peru long long time ago, swimming the atlantic ocean (yeah right).

It used to be a pony when it was in Peru, but when they were swimming over the atlantic ocean,

obviously, they had to breath, so their necks got a bit long.

Some people call it a giraffe (especially people in Africa), and some people call it, mysteriously, alpaca.

They came to England because they were fed up with the hot weather there,

but when they arrived in England, they became very depressed with all the rain (as shown above).

Anyway (what was I talking about),  went to Fiona's house today with Rob and Jo, as she invited us for a barbecue!

Fiona recently bought two alpacas; but since they're both pregnant, there will be four alpacas in her big garden in three month or so.

So Fiona's animal kingdom (so I call) is growing (she also has two sheep).

Sheep is singular word by the way, so not sheeps, but sheep.

English is so strange.

Anyway, just before we started the barbecue, a very large and dark clouds approached from the horizon.

Fiona's husband, being a professional barbecuer, sensed that it's going to rain so we dashed inside.

So we had a barbecue inside in the dining room!

Fiona's kids were so cute...

They were cuter than the alpacas.

In my words, alpaca is not cute, but they're cool.
