仕事後、会社のHashimotoさんと中華レストランでお食事。
昨今の日本の経済・政治の話題でもりあがりました。
なんだか、急に僕のインターンシップの雰囲気が、変わったような気がする。
やはりこうして、日本人の方と、話するのはおもしろい。
普段、イギリス人と話すことのできない話題や、
日本人にしか通じないような冗談が言えるので気持ちがすっきりする。
また来週会う約束をした。
Had dinner with Mr Hashimoto after work.
We covered a lot of topics, mostly things recently happening in Japan.
I feel strange, to meet a Japanese and to be able to speak in Japanese two days in a row, face to face.
It's really interesting and inspiring to talk with a Japanese (well, I know, I am Japanese, but you know what I mean).
Althought I don't find it difficult to talk in English with British people,
I do feel that my mind and the way of thinking, are different.
We tend to focus on different social/political topics, tend to laugh at different point in the conversation,
and I guess, having enjoyed these two evenings so much, I've been missing that.
We promised to have dinner together again, next Friday.
