Masaと図書館でばったり会い、街に出かけてコーヒーを飲むことにした。
マサも最終学年なので、自然と就活の話になる。
彼は内定がもらえそうな雰囲気らしい。いいなあ！
僕も頑張らなくては。
マサは彼女はいないの？という唐突な僕の質問に
「え？微妙ですね」
という、意外な答えが返ってきたので
え？いるのかい？と突き詰めると
「いませんよー」
と完全否定するからウケた。
そんな、くだらない話をしながら、なかなかリラックスできました。
さて、まだ夕方の５時前なので、
これから、面接の準備をするか。
今日は少し心が落ち着いている。
I bumped into Masa in the library, so we decided to go for a coffee in the town.
As both of us are in the final year, naturally, our conversation focused around job hunting.
He said he's one step away from getting a final offer, good job!
I have to seriosuly work harder to get mine as well.
I took him off-guard by asking "do you have a girlfriend?
then he goes
"well, it's kind of complicated"
which took ME by surprise, so I probed him by saying "oh, so you do have a girl friend?"
then he denies by saying
"No, I don't"
which kind of made me laugh.
It's still five in the afternoon.
I think I'll start preparing for an interview.
I feel calm today.
