一日旅行の日記を書き上げていた。
午後、アレン・ジョンソンに会う。
「試験日が一週間早まったよね」
え？そんなこと聞いてないよと少し焦りを見せると
「冗談だよ」
見事やられた。エープリル・フールでもないのに、まったく困った奴だ。
大きな荷物を持っていたので、
「どこかに行くの？」と聞いたら
「ああ、これから旅行に行ってくるんだ」とアレン。
「へーどこに行くんだい？」と聞くと
「コイン・ランドリーまでだよ」。
見事にしてやられた。
アレンの馬鹿なジョークについていけないということは、
まだ僕も本調子じゃないということか。
Was writing up my diary for the trip.
I met Allen Johnson infront of my flat.
He goes, "you know that the exam period moved one week early?"
I asked very worryingly, "seriously, nobody told me that!".
"just kidding"
Damn, he got me, and today's not even April fools day.
Since he was carrying a huge luggage with him I asked,
"are you going somewhere?"
Then he replied "yeah, I'm going travelling"
So I asked happily, "oh really? whereabouts?"
"to the laundry"
Damn, he got me again.
Well, looks like my brain has not fully recovered yet, not being able to keep up with Allen's stupid jokes.
