今日は何の日だ？
祝日だったのだけど、何の日かしらと思い、グーグルで検索してみると
骨と関節の日
蕎麦の日
あーやの誕生日
入れ歯感謝デー
と、たくさんの情報が出てきた。
どれも絶対に間違っているぐらい、今年24歳になった僕には分かる。
まったく、インターネットなんてあてにしないで、新聞を最初から見ればよかった、
そう今日は体育の日。
朝から、祖父が家の水漏れしているベランダの修復をしに来ていただいた。
祖父は、こういう作業はプロ並みだ。
僕も手伝いたかったが、生憎朝から晩まで仕事をしなくてはいけなかった。
せめて家でできるだけでも良しとするか。
家で晩御飯を食べた後、中野新橋の部屋に帰った。
ああ、今週も始まってしまう。
少し憂鬱な気分だが、気合を入れ直して頑張るしかないのだ。

Well, I know it's a holiday, that's why I didn't go to work.

I searched on google, and it gave me lots of info such as...
Bones and joints day
Soba noodles day
Aya's birthday
False teeth appreciation day
etc etc, and I know, having lived 24 years, that none of them are correct.
Internet is so useless, I should have looked at the newspaper from the beginning,
that's right, today was Sports day.
My grandfather came in the morning to fix our veranda which is leeking water these days.
My grandfather is an expert on these things.
I wanted to help, but I had to work all day today, well, at least I could work from home.
After having dinner at home, I came back to my flat in Nakanoshinbashi.
Sigh, another week is about to start.
I feel a little melancholy, but I must keep on going, that's all I can do.
