朝教会に行く。

最近礼拝の説教で、Nakajima先生はパワーポイントを活用するようになってきた。

内容に合わせて、スライドが毎回３〜４枚、カラフルで楽しげなピクチャーなども乗っている。

僕はパワーポイントをクリックする係なので、説教の内容をしっかりと聞いて、話の展開に合わせてクリックしなくてはいけない。

最近気がついたのだが、

これは僕が話をちゃんと聞いているかどうか会衆一同が分かるような「仕組み」になってしまっているのだ。

そう、少しでもクリックするのが遅れると、僕の気がどこか他の所へいっていると感づかれてしまうのだ！

非常にプレッシャーがかかる仕事なのだ。

夜、ゾムから借りた映画「ゴッドファーザー」を観た。

これは名作だ！

最後のエンディングもなんともアーティスティックだった。

Went to church in the morning.

Pastor Nakajima(sensei) has gradually started using the PowerPoint recently.

He uses funny pictures and some very colourful slides.

I’m responsible for clicking the PowerPoint slides in line with the Pastor’s sermon.

Don’t get me wrong, I was listening to the sermon even before I started this role,

but there is actually a “system” in place that, if I wasn’t listening to the sermon,

the whole congregation could find out that my mind is floating somewhere else.

This is a very high pressure job.

In the evening, I watched a film “The Godfather”, which I borrowed from Zome.

It was an excellent film, the ending was very artistic.
