Sophie came over from France.

As her planed was due to arrive at 14:30,

I went to Narita Airport sometime past three.

I spotted a lot of people wearing masks to protect from swine flue, which was kind of scary.

After waiting for only ten minutes, she came out of the gate.

The last time Sophie and I met was in London, two years ago, time does fly.

We got on the Narita Express and took her directly to my church in Ogikubo, where she'll be staying for some time.

When we arrived, Kusunoki-sensei had prepared the room nice and cozy,

I had to laugh when I saw some sweets in the fridge, I really thank for her kindness.

For dinner, Kusunoki-sensei cooked us some somen noodles.

Oh and by the way,

the photo is of Kusunoki-sensei teaching Sophie the Japanese tea ceremony manners,

but also noting her that no need to turn the cup three times when drinking casually at home.

Sophie will be staying in Japan for four weeks.

I pray that she will have a good time.
