北京に来た。
北京国際空港に予定通り現地時間の１３時半に到着。
北京オリンピックの時に増改築されたというこの空港。
目が飛び出るほどでかい！
父が空港まで迎えに来てくれた。
父の住んでいる北京市内までタクシーで移動。
３０分ぐらい乗っても、タクシー代は９０元（１３００円ぐらい）。
中国はタクシーが安い。
父の住んでいるマンションはとても綺麗だ。
中にはジムまである。
Here I am, in Beijing.
We arrived as scheduled, at 13:30.
Beijing International Airport, which was renovated and expanded
before the Olympics, and it was stupendously big.
Dad came to pick us up.
We took a taxi to the centre of the city,
taxis are quite cheap in China.
My dad's place was really nice.
There's also a gym.
教会のTamuraさんのお土産である
、 軽井沢田村石材のジャンパーを渡す。
This jumper was a gift from Tamura-san, a friend from church.
少し部屋で休んだ後、
夕方、市内を散歩する。 今日が旧正月の大みそかということで、
どの店も閉まっている！
車数も少ないらしい。
しかし、北京はとにかく広い！！！
あと、基本的に「車優先《らしいので、
歩行者は気をつけなくてはいけない。
After a short rest,
we took a walk around the city.
Today being the Chinese New Year's Eve,
most of the shops were closed,
and there's less cars in the streets (according to my dad).
And you know,
the streets are so wide and everything is so big in this place.
近くの中華料理の店で晩飯を食べる。
本場の中華は、
目が飛び出るほどうまかった。
We had Chinese for dinner (and it's not a takeout!)
The "real" Chinese food was very tasty, I loved it.
夜は一人日本に取り残された母とスカイプをする。
明日は教会に行ってくる。
We talked to my mom in the evening through Skype.
Tomorrow is Sunday and we're going to church in the morning.
