昨日お土産に買ったジャスミン茶はうまい。
お土産に買ったものがまずいと申し訳ないので、試しに飲んでしまった。
朝はゆっくりと部屋で過ごしていた。
昼前に三里屯（サンリートン）という、
北京のオシャレなエリアに行く。
The jasmin tea which I bought for souvenir is really good.
I opened it to make sure that the tea taste decent before giving it to anyone.
I studied a little in the morning.
Before lunch,
we went to Sanlitun, which is in the trendy SOHO area.
モールの横にある、ビデオ屋で弟が再び目を輝かせてしまった。
論文の執筆に使えそうな映画がたくさんあり、収穫が大きかったようで喜んでいた。
今日は４７本購入したらしい。
店の人も驚いていたようで、
２０％割り引いてくれたらしい。
We went into this DVD shop near the mall,
and my brother's eyes were enlightened again.
He seemed to have found lots of materials
which he can use for writing his new article for a film magazine.
(he bought 47 DVDs today...)
The shop keeper was happy - she gave us 20% discount.
昼飯を、なんちゃって日本料理の店で食べた後、

After lunch, we took a taxi to Nan Luo Gu Xiang,
a traditional street with lots of interesting stops and cafes.
I really like this place,
I shall name it the "Chinese Cotswolds".
とあるカフェに入り、コーヒーを飲んだ。
ゾムは何を血迷ったのか、ショウガ入りのココアを注文し、
顔をしかめていた。
We got into this nice looking cafe for coffee.
My brother Zome ventured (mistakenly that is) to
try a hot chocolate with ginger.
He was agonizing.
結局今日購入した分を合わせて、
弟はこの北京旅行で８０本以上は購入したらしい。
あとは税関で怪しまれなければいいのだが。
Including the ones he bought today,
he bought over 80 DVDs during this trip.
He sure is happy,
but I hope we can pass the customs without any trouble.
夜、お土産のお茶を買いに、
昨日行ったスーパーに再び行く。
その後、明日の朝食用にパンを買う。
In the evening,
we went to the same supermarket as yesterday
to buy more teas for souvenir.
And we bought some bread for tomorrow's breakfast.
