今日はお誕生日会。
「おやつ持って来たー？」と、
疑い深く子供達に問いつめられる。
過去に数えきれないばかり忘れていたので、しょうがない。
実際、今日も見事忘れていたのだが、
昨日の残りがあったので、
今日はなんとか誕生日会を行うことが出来た。
今日は新年聖会で、
池田中央教会の鎌野善三先生が来て、
創世記１２章から素晴らしいメッセージを語ってくださった。

Today was the birthday party for those born in December and January.
After the Sunday school service,
the kids approached me and doubtfully asked,
"you didn't forget to bring the snacks this time?".
How sad is it to be not trusted by the kids?,
but it is partly (if not wholly) my fault,
as I've forgot about it uncountable number of times in the past.
And yet again, I forgot today... how sad.
But thankfully, there were some leftover snacks from yesterday,
so we managed to give a party today, instead of postponing it to next week.
Today was a special New Year's service.
The church invited Pastor Kamano from Ikeda Chuo Church.
He spoke from Genesis 12, a great message it was.
Let's be a peace maker!
