今週末は青年会の一泊親睦会ということで、
清里に行ってきた。
新学生メンバー3人を含めて、合計7人が参加。
美しの森から、天女山方面へ歩く。
Today was our Youth Group's outing day.
We drove to Kiyosato, about two hours drive to the southwest of Tokyo.
A total of 7 participated, including the new students.
We hiked from Utsukushino-mori (a beautiful forest) to
the direction of Tennyo Mt. (heavenly woman mountain).

天気は生憎曇りだったけれど、
霧がとても幻想的だった。
Unfortunately, it was not sunny,
but it was quite fun to walk through the deep mist.
川を渡り...

草原に出た。
then got out in the field.
ある行き始めてから、約2時間、
展望台で昼食をとる。
After two hours walk,
arrived to the observatory,
where we lunched.
昼食後は、公道を歩いて、
美しの森の入り口へ戻る。
After lunch,
we walked along the road
back to where we started.
大きな橋に遭遇。
We came across this big red bridge.
遠くから、一枚。
And took a photo from the distance.
車に戻り、
パノラマの湯という温泉まで移動。
天気が良ければ、凄いパノラマが見えるらしいが、
今日はすばらしい、曇り空が見えた。
風呂上がりに、I.Kojiが牛乳を一杯。
God on the car and drove to a hotsrping,
the Panorama Hotspring, as you can see a great
panorama of the mountains from the outside bath,
if it were sunny, that is.

その後、清泉寮に行く。
ここは、ポール・ラッシュという宣教師がかつて、
建てた建物で、
今は、日本一うまいアイスクリームで有吊な場所だ。

We then went to Seisenryo,
which is a dormitory built by
a missionary called Paul Rush;
now this place is famous for
the best icecream in Japan.
It was good.
５時過ぎに、清里を後にする。
高井戸駅近くのガストで晩飯を食べて帰ってきた。
素晴らしい一日だった。
We left Kiyosato at around 5pm.
We had dinner on the way back.
A great day it was.
