最近、事情あって、
社内の雰囲気が殺伐としている。
隣に座っているエグゼクティブ・アシスタントの
Kさんもここ２週間ほど機嫌が悪く、
ほとんど口を聞いてくれなかったが、
今日、とあるきっかけがあって、
話すことが出来た。
本当に大変。
今日はワールドカップの日本戦。
１１時からキックオフ。
けれど、テレビがないから見れない。

My workplace atmosphere cannot become worse
than what is now due to a number of reasons.
An executive assistant, who sits right next to me,
is so grumpy these days,
that she was ignoring me for the past two weeks.
But I finally got to talk to her today,
and was able to listen her speak about what's been
going on in her head these days.
Japan is playing tonight (in World Cup).
But sadly, I do not have an access to a television...
So instead, I decided to read "The Castle", by Franz Kafka.
