一粒の麦が地に落ちて死ななければ、
それはただ一粒のままである。

朝１０時から、祖父の告別式が行われた。
今朝も雨にもかかわらず、多くの方が参列してくださった。
次々と献花を捧げる人々の姿を見ながら、
僕はふしぎな感覚にみまわれた。
それは、ここにいる全員がいずれは死ぬということだ。
誰一人として、死を逃れることは出来ない。
ただ、イエス・キリストは言われた。
わたしはよみがえりであり、命である。
わたしを信じる者は、たとい死んでも生きる。
また、生きていて、わたしを信じる者は、
いつまでも死なない。あなたはこれを信じるか。
ヨハネ11:25-26
どうか、祖父が一粒の麦となり、
多くの人々に、
この真実が伝わりますように。
告別式が終わり、
昼食を食べた後、
家族と僕の部屋でお茶をした。

But Jesus Christ said:
"I am the resurrection and the life.
Those who believe in me,

and everyone who lives and believes in me will never die.
Do you believe this?"

May my grandfather's life become a grain of wheat,
and let the words of Jesus Christ reach the people's hearts.
After the service,
my family came to my flat.
