今日は九州の先生方と一緒に、福島県にある教団の教会を慰問した。
１０時に郡山キリスト共同教会に到着。
福井先生が教会及び地域の被害状況について話してくれた。
福島の人は、原発の問題で、他県へ避難したいが、
生活のことを考えると移りようもなく、諦めモードになっている人が大勢いるとのこと。
We visited many churches in Fukushima with the pastors from Kyushu.
At 10, we arrived at Koriyama Kyodou church.
Pastor Fukui told us about the damage.
Many people in Fukushima are in giving up mode,
as they want to evacuate to safer place,
but in reality, moving is not that easy
with their jobs and housings are based here.
三春新生教会では田代先生が案内してくれた。
同教会の被害はトイレの窓枠にヒビが入った程度。
放射線量は東京の20倊程度という。
Pastor Tashiro welcomed us at Miharu Shinsei Church.
Little damage was caused by the earthquake,
but the radition level in this area is
20 times higher than that of Tokyo.
三春は本当に奇麗な所。
ただ、原発のことを考えると、素直に景色を楽しめない。
Miharu is a truly beautiful area,
but thinking about the nuclear power plant,
I cannot fully enjoy the scenery.
三春教会のすぐ近くの、
「たむら屋《というおいしい蕎麦屋で昼食をとる。
We lunched at a soba restaurant near the Miharu church.
１３時に小野町教会に到着。
同教会は、地震の関係で、
現在火曜日に礼拝をもっており、
丁度それに参加させて頂いた。
小野町教会でも大きな余震がいくつかあった。
また、福島の原発事故の評価がレベル7になったというニュースもここで聞いた。
After lunch, we went to Onomachi church.
This church is now holding a Sunday service on Tuesday...
As pastors and church members have difficulty gathering on Sunday
due to the effects from the earthquake.
Whilst at this church,
there was yet again, a large earthquake.
I also saw the news that the Fukushima's nuclear crisis is now level 7,
equivalent to Chernobyl.
１６時に、いわき市にある、内郷キリスト福音教会に到着。
この教会とシオンの丘は、今回の地震救援に関して、
密接に連絡をとりあっている。
昨夜の大きな地震で、いわき市内で大規模な断水が起きたため、
生活水を持ってきてほしいとの要請を受けて今日は訪問した。
被害状況を聞いた後、
断水している避難所や教会員のために、
水をポリタンクに入れて、輸送した。
At around 4pm, visited a church in Iwaki city,
which is at the east of Fukushima,
south of the nuclear powerplant.
Uchigo Church is now playing a central role
in providing food and water to churches
and evaculation points in the city.
Due to last night's large earthquake,
the supply of water was cut,
so we transported many water containers.
