１０時に昨日来た、内郷キリスト福音教会に到着。
内郷から生活水、レトルト、お米等の食料品、下着、おむつ等の物資を軽トラックに積んで、
勿来（なこそ）にある教会まで行く。
この地域でも、４月１１日の地震で断水が続いているという。
原発問題で、一時期は街の6割が避難し、
ゴーストタウン化したという。
津波で職場を失ったり、魚が売れなかったりと、
今も尚深刻な問題を抱えている。
We revisited the church in Iwaki city.
We loaded the truck with water, ready-made meals, rice,
underwear, diapers, etc. and delivered them to
a church in Nakoso city, about 40 minutes drive from Iwaki.
Nakoso was also still experiencing water cuts from the earthquake on 4/11.
60% of the people in this city once evaculated when
the news about the nuclear power plant first came out.
Now people started to come back,
but the situation remains grim.
Many lost their jobs, the fishing industry is severely affected too.
物資の運搬後、
小吊浜の海外沿いを走った。
津波の被害で、港周辺はほぼ壊滅状態だった。
We drove along the coastline in Onahama.
The port had no resemblance of what it used to look like.
小吊浜から、南相馬の辺りの被害状況を見に、車を走らせたが、
原発を大きく迂回して行く必要があり、
相馬市に着いた頃は既に日が沈んでいた。
海岸沿いに車を止めた。
暗闇の中に、津波で流された家屋や瓦礫の影が上気味に見えた。
とんでもない所に来てしまったと、
身震いを感じた。
We continued to drive up north,
circumventing the nuclear powerplant.
It was already dark when we arrived at Souma city.
We stopped the car near the sea shore.
I could see the wreckages of houses and boats in the dark.
I didn't want to stay there any longer.
Even in the darkness, I knew,
something terrible happened in this place.
