台風が夕方東京を直撃する予想だったので、2時に退社許可が出た。3時に退社し、家に到着した4時過ぎに大荒れになった。
濡れたけど、最悪は免れたので感謝。
東京に台風が直撃したのは久しぶりな気がする。
丁度風がおさまった、夜の7時半から、
久しぶりに祈祷会に参加する。
韓国から舞踊団が来てくれて、
音楽に合わせて素敵な踊りを披露してくれた。
As the typhoon was expected to hit Tokyo sometime in the evening,
the company allowed us to leave the office at 2pm.
I managed to come home at 4pm, just before the wind reached its highest level.
I think it's been a while since the last typhoon hit Tokyo.
By 7:30 in the evening, it was gone.
So I went to church to attend a prayer meeting.
Tonight, there was a group of Korean worship dancers who were staying over night at my church;
we were lucky to see their performance in the prayer meeting.
3時に帰宅なんて、すばらしい判断。私の帰宅時にはしっかり電車止まっていたよ。
