今日も昨日に続き良い天気だった
先週まで肌寒かったがようやくイギリスにも夏が来たかな？
今日は朝っぱらから早速バイト探し
バーミンガムの街中を歩き回り、Job Vacancyの紙が店の窓に貼られてないか探す
Broad Streetに日本料理の「SHOGUN」といういかにも怪しい名前の店がある
バイト募集の紙はどこにも貼られてはいなかったが、とりあえず電話
不機嫌そうな女性に 「履歴書送れや」みたいな感じで言われ、事実上拒否される
まったくこの国のカスタマーサービスは一体どうなってんの！（カスタマーじゃないけど）
仕方ないのでまた街を歩く
おっ！GREGGS（全国チェーンのファーストフード店）が募集しているではないか！
ふむふむ、５日に募集会をジョブセンターで開くわけね
とメモしてたら、５日って今日じゃないかー！ と慌ててジョブセンターへ直行する
中に入ると同じ募集広告を見た人たちが３０人近くすでに待っていた
アプリケーションフォームを記入し、４０分ぐらい待ったあとイギリスに来てから３度めのジョブ面接！
志望動機だけ待っている間に考えていたので、そこそこうまく行ったかな？だといいな！
Job hunting from morning
I was strolling down the city, looking for job vacancy signs
As I went passed one of the GREGGS stores near Victoria Square,
found an ad saying that there'll be some job open desk at a job centre
When I arrived, there was already more than 30 people waiting for an interview.
Filled in an application form waited for about 40min for my interview
Do you not have a National Insurance Number?
That was the scariest question, but I honestly said
'No, I don't at the moment, because I haven't got a job since I came to UK'
She understood, I hope
The rest went fine apart from my making mistake at one of the simplest arithmetic that they asked
it was something like, 'How much do 3 pastry cost if they are 38p each?' or something
Accounting student? She must have thought, oh well!
