昨日返事待ちの会社からメールがあり、今朝電話したところ月曜日に面接をしてくれるとのこと
時計の製造メーカーで「最近のファッションに関する知識と理解」を持っていることが条件だった
さて、僕はこちらイギリスに来てからまだ一度たりとも服など買ったことがない
ましてや、時計ブランドなぞカシオとローレックスぐらいしか知らない
これは、かなりヤバイなと思い午前中はファッション時計市場をマーケットリサーチすることにした
高級な時計店にも入りたかったので、なめられたらあかんと思い、スーツを一応着て部屋を出る
（つくづく自分はアホだなあと思う、承知の上での決断だった）
街の中心街にある４、５店の店頭に並べてある時計の価格帯と、種類、特徴を軽くメモッた
約３時間ほど粘ったが、微妙に自信をなくして今日はやめることにした
午後Y君に会う
彼はなかなかファッショナブルなので、最近の流行について聞いたら、なかなか良い情報をゲットできた。
明日から３日間イギリスの南、Exeterに行ってくる。楽しみだ！
Tiring day it was
In the morning, I managed to arrange an interview for Monday.
It's with a watch manufacturer
One of the skill requirements for this job was 'having knowledge and understanding in the current trend and fashion'
To tell the truth, I have not broken my record of 'not' buying any clothes or anything in relation since I came to this country
Not even a pair of socks - I'm a perfectionist to be sure!
Actually, this was/is nothing to laugh about, as I have an interview on Monday!
So, I decided to go into the city to do some market research on fashion watch market.
I wanted to go into some posh looking shops as well so decided to wear a suit and tie, which sounds and is stupid to be sure.
I went around 4 to 5 shops in the city centre and jotted down what sort of watches are on trend and also memoed price and design and stuff
After 3 hours of toil, thinking this might be going in the totally wrong direction
I called it a day at GREGGS; cheese and ham pastry was not bad at all.
Going to Exeter tommorow for three days! I hope the weather is nice down there!
