一日中お腹が痛かった。
昼食べたチキン・サンドイッチがあたったんだと思う。
まだ痛い。
今日ベッドが届いた。でもスクリュー・ドライバーがないので作れない。
ジョーに電話して明日会社に持ってきてもらうことにした。でも今晩はまた床に寝なくちゃいけない．．．
今日第一回東アジア会議をリビング・ルームで開いた。
初めに、お金のことを話して、その後ハウス・ルールを決めた。
ゴミを出しに行く当番を決めたり、食器は食べたらすぐ洗うなどなど、ありとあらゆることを決めた。
「テーブルがよごれてたらどうする？」ヴィンセントは何もかしこもルールにするのが好きらしい。
「よごした人が拭けばいいだろ」 とジェラミー。
「でも、どうやって？」 とヴィンセント。
「台布巾か何か使えばいいだろ！」
夜１１時までこの調子で少しずつルールが決められていった。
でも問題は実行できるかどうかなんだよね。
My stomach was aching all day today.
I think the chicken sandwich I had for lunch did it; it's a light food poisoning.
It's still aching and I feel so ill...
My bed arrived today, but I need screw drivers to build it which I don't have.
I asked J to bring it to work tomorrow, but for the time being, I have to sleep on the floor again.
We held the first East Asian Conference in the living room from nine.
We first settled finance matters and then decided some basic house rules, like 'you must wash the dishes right away' and so on.
'If the table is wet, what should we do? who's gonna clean them?' said Vincent, he was so eager to make the rules.
'Just clean them, whoever made the mess' said Jeremy.
'But how?' - Vincent
'What do you mean how, just use a clothe or something' - Jeremy
'If the garbage bin is half full I think we shouldn't bring it out to save bags' - Vincent
'But bags are only 10p or something' - Jeremy
'But if we buy 1000 bags, it's gonna cost a lot' -Vincent
'What do you need 1000 bags for, we gonna live here for only one year' - Jeremy
And it went on and on until 11pm.
I sincerely hope that we can 'implement' these wonderful rules...
