'You can make more money with a flop than with a hit'
仕事後、ヴィンセントとロンドンまで「ザ・プロデューサーズ」というミュージカルを観て来た。
先週のクリスマス・パーティのクジでペアチケットが当たったんだ。
ある会計士と二流のブロードウェイ・プロデューサーが、
「売れないブロードウェイ・ショー」を作って、お金を儲けようとする話。
この二人の男（リオとマックス）は、歴史上最悪の脚本と、
街で最低とされるディレクターを使って、最悪のショーを作ろうとする。
最終的に「ヒットラーの春(Springtime for Hitler)」という、
もとナチスの軍人が書いた、絶対に売れないだろうとされる脚本を選ぶ。
売れないだろうと思っていたのだが．．．
本当に面白かった。また観に行きたいな。
Went to London after work with Vincent, to see a musical called 'The Producers'.
They were my lucky tickets that I won in last week's Christmas party.
The story was basically about this two men (an ex-accountant and a second-rate broadway producer) trying to
make a fortune by producing a flop broadway show, i.e. a scheme to embezzle the profit.
The two men, Leo and Max, try to find the worst script in the history, with the worst director in the city;
they eventually find this script called 'Springtime for Hitler' written by some ex-Nazi army man.
They thought the show cannot become a hit, but...
It was hilarious! I want to go see it again.
