テート・ブリテンへ、「ドガ、シッカート、トゥールーズ・ロートレック展」に行ってきた。
今日までだったので、ギリギリセーフ。
１９世紀後半から２０世紀初頭にかけて活躍した、ロンドンとパリの芸術家たちがどのように影響し合うったのかうまく表現されていた。
特にドガの影響は凄まじかったというのが、今回よく分かった。
ドガの構図はすばらしい。斬新だ。ものすごいインパクトだ。
僕の写真撮影ももっと斬新にならなくちゃだめだ。
シッカートもすばらしい絵がたくさんあった。
でも、その横に比較できるように並んでいた、ボナールとヴュイヤールの絵のほうが素晴らしかったなあ。
ああ、素晴らしかった。
午後２時半から日本人教会に行ってきた。
さあ、明日からまた仕事。燃料補給完了です。
Went to Tate Britain to see 'Degas, Sickert and Toulouse-Lautrec exhibition'.
Today was the last day, I'm glad that I made it.
The exhibition showed how various artist, living in the late 19th century - early 20 century London-Paris, influenced each other.
Especially, I learnt how great the influence of Degas was upon the artist living in that era.
Degas' composition is amazing, it is so daring and ingenious. It gives a great impact on the viewer.
I must learn something from his composition technique for my photography class. I must be more experimental.
There were quite a few pictures by Sickert,
but I liked more the paintings by Bonnard and Vuillard, which was hanged next to one of Sickert's painting, for comparison purposes.
It was a spectacular exhibition.
Went to the Japanese church from 2:30.
Start of a new week.
My fuel is full and I'm ready to go.
