I woke up at five thirty, washed up and left the hostel still half asleep.
At the station, I booked my seats for the trains from Geneva to Montpellier and Montpellier to Barcelona.
I had to pay 100 euros for the train from Geneva to Montpellier
as the Eurail discount did not apply as 'it has already exceeded the limit', whatever that means...
I don't think it was worth buying this pass after all.
I went to Geneva via Visp taking one of the earliest trains.
I tried not to sleep in the train by concentrating on the Magic Mountain, injecting adrenalin in my brain.
I wanted to finish reading this book while I was in Zermatt, as the story takes place in Switzerland, but I failed to do so.
But I must finish it before the end of my trip, this is my mission.
From Geneva, I took the 12:40 TGV train to Montpellier.
Looking outside the window, I wondered how I ended up skipping this massive country.
Well, massive country as it is, I will come here again sometime in the future.
Arrived in Montpellier at half past four.
And it was another four and half hours journey from Montpellier to Barcelona.
Arrived in Barcelona just before ten.
It took me a long time to find my youth hostel.
At the end, I couldn't find it, and I gave up.
I hailed a cab and ask the driver to take me there...
