土曜日。
昨夜は教会に泊まった。
今日は、実家に帰りゆっくりしようかと思っていたが、
やはり、聖書通読会の最後を見届けたかったので、
中野の部屋で昼寝をした後、
夕方再び教会に戻る。
予定よりも４時間以上早い、
朝の1時半頃に、聖書全巻を読み終えた。
I slept at church last night.
I thought I would go home and take it easy today,
but as I wanted to see the end of this bible reading event,
I briefly went back to my room in Nakano, took a short nap,
and headed back to church in the afternoon.
We finished reading more than four hours early at around half past one in the morning.
読み終えた後、その場にいた人たちで記念撮影をし、
シフォンケーキなどを食べながら祝う。
その後、Nakajima先生が、ラーメンを食べに行きたいというので、
なんと深夜の２時過ぎに、車を２台も出して、１０人ちょっとで
環七沿いにある「なんでんかんでん」というラーメン屋に行く。
We celebrated eating cakes and all and
Pastor Nakajima asked for volunteers to go eat ramen to celebrate, at two in the morning....
We went to this place along the Kannana road called "Nandenkanden",
they do Hakata-style ramens.
博多出身の女の子達は初め懐疑的ではあったけれど、
なかなかうまいと食べていた。
The three girls were from Hakata and they were first sceptical about eating
Hakata-style ramen in Tokyo,
but they said it taste genuine.
深夜３時前にラーメンを食べたことを知られたらまずいと、
柱の後ろに隠れようとする、Miura先生。
時すでに遅しです。
Miura-sensei is trying to hide behind the poll,
as his wife's gonna kill him if she finds out that he ate ramen at two in the morning...
Oops, too late.
