Christmas Eve.
In the morning, we decided to do a bit of sightseeing in Rome.
Mitz took me to various places including, San Pietro cathedral, Fontana
di Trevi, the Spanish Square, etc.
'Wait, I'm looking for a cheaper coin'
said Mitz, having finally managed to find a penny, he threw it over his
shoulder.
During the lunch break, Mitz got a work-related phone call from
Japan requesting
him to write some article by tomorrow.
So Mitz went back to the hotel to check e-mails, and in the mean
time, I went to the Colloseum.
They renovated this place in a such a way that you can go around the
stadium in circle
and you can even climb up to the upper level.
We left Rome at around 4pm for Perugia, two hours bus ride from
Rome.
Mitz has many friends in this city, having lived here in the past for
couples of years.
We stayed at Matio's family and was invited for a dinner in the evening.
The dinner was great.
I forgot what it is called, but this 'meat fondue' (just made that up)
was very exciting to eat.
You basically dip pieces of meat into a bowl of oil and once it is
cooked, you dip it in various sauces, such as chilli, tomato, etc.
You need to mororise the colour of your fork, otherwise it gets mixed
and causes all sorts of confusion.
I ate far too much.
It was a wonderful wonderful day.
