今日からオフィスでの仕事が始まった。
朝出勤すると、自分の机、パソコン、電話等がちゃんと用意されていた。
朝マネージャーと挨拶をし、簡単な仕事の説明を受ける。
主に月末の決算、SAPへの記帳と資本投資の３つが僕の仕事。
「残業はしなくていいわよ。してたらあなたの効率が悪いってことになるからね」
だって。複雑な気分。
チームは自分含めて６人。皆とてもフレンドリーだ。
今日は、僕が引き継ぎを受ける A から、SAPの使いかたからコーヒーの入れ方まで色々教わった。
覚えることがたくさんあって大変だ。
色々な部署のマネージャーと会って軽く雑談した。
中でもブラジル人の P とは話が盛り上がった。
日本代表監督のジーコの話やら、子供の話やら、
しまいには、
「いい奥さん探してあげるわよ、わたし親戚が多いんだから」
だって。
もう色々な意味で大変だよ。
Work at the office started from today.
There was my desk, pc and a phone already prepared when I arrived in the morning.
Had a short meeting with my manager in the morning and she briefly explained to me about my role.
Looks like I'll be doing mainly three things; the month end account analysis, cash posting to SAP and capital investment.
'You don't have to work overtime, if you do, I'll consider that you're being inefficient'
Hmmm, okay, fair enough!
The general accounting team consist of six people including myself; they are all friendly.
Mr.A, the existing placement student, taught me a lot of things from using the SAP to how to use the coffee machine.
There's a lot of things to remember, I hope I can get use to the work quickly.
I met quite a few managers today.
Ms P was so funny, we talked about football, about her child and she even told me
'If you need a wife, I can help you, I have many many relatives in Brazil'.
Yeah, it's quite tough, in all means.
