今日は祝日。

イギリスではすべての祝日をバンク・ホリデーと言う。

よって、なんで祝日なのか実のところほとんどの人が知らない。

アメリカの感謝際、日本の勤労感謝の日といったふうに、名前をわかりやすく付ければいいものを、

すべてまとめてバンク・ホリデーと言うものだから、

銀行が閉まっているという事実以外、何もわかりゃしない！

今日もケヴィンの母親が来て、ランチを一緒にたべた。

一日中日記を書いていた。


Today was bank holiday.

Not sure what this bank holiday is about,

that's the problem of UK bank holidays, they just call it bank holiday and nobody really knows the origin.

In America or Japan or whereever, they have names for each holiday,

like Thanks Giving Day or Appreciating the Old People's day etctec

But in UK, all we know is that bank is on holiday today.

Kevin's mother came to have lunch again.

I was writing my diary all day, English is almost finished.

But now I have to translate them into Japanese...
