ジューディスとその両親とサムと一緒に、オックスフォードで昼飯を食べた。
ジューディスの両親が見つけたとても可愛らしいパブだった。僕はえびフライを注文した。
思えば、ジューディスの両親に会ったのは約２年前。時が過ぎるのは本当に早いものだ。
ごちそうさまでした！
Had lunch with Judith and her parents and Sam in Oxford.
The pub (which I forgot the name already) was very pretty.I ordered scampi, it was very nice.
To think about it, the last time I met Judith's parents were almost two years ago, it was certainly nice to see them again.

昼飯後、運河でパンティングをした。
このパンティング、長細い棒で船を漕ぐわけだが、これが見かけよりも難しい。
今回始めてトライしてみたが、最初はボートが右にいったり左にいったりでまったく進まなかった。
イギリスでは滅多にないほど暑い日だったので、水の上でリラックスできてよかった。
After lunch, we went to do punting; for me it was the first time.
This punting was very difficult then it appeared, the boat kept going round and round ...
It was a very hot day for England, so was nice to chill out on a boat and relax.
パンティングを１時間たっぷり楽しんだ後、運河沿いにある、植物園に行った。
さすがに、温室の中はサウナのように熱かった。
After enjoying the punting for an hour, we went to the botanic garden, which was standing along the canal.
The greenhouse was hot like a sauna, but it was good fun to see the exotic flowers and plants.
オックスフォードを午後５時頃
途中、パブに立ち寄って軽く休憩。バーで働いている人がイングランド対ポルトガル戦で、ルーニーがレッドカードをもらったと話しているのを聞いた。あっ ちゃー。
サムの家に着くと、ちょうどPKが始まろうとしているところだった。
イングランドは残念ながら敗退。
さて、日本もイングランドも負けてしまったし、どの国を応援すればいいのやら。
サムの家族と友達と一緒に晩飯を食べる。

We left Oxford at around 5.
We overheard from the guy talking in the pub (which we stopped by along the way), that Rooney got a red card England VS Portugal match.
As we arrived at Sam's house, the penalty kick was just about to start.
Very sadly, England lost.
Well, now that Japan and England are out of the cup, I don't know who to support...
Had lunch with Sam's family and friends.
