朝、Naoyaさんに会った。
昨夜夜遅くに着いたらしく、実に１年振りの再会だ。
ケンブリッジを卒業後、現在ドイツの研究機関で働いている彼、
仕事も軌道に乗り、人生をエンジョイしているようだった。
午後、Yokoさん、Takeuchiさん、Rihito君とミラノ市内を観光した。
I met Naoya in the morning.
It has been more than a year since I last saw him.
After graduating from Cambridge, he is currently working in a research institute in Germany.
He seemed to be enjoying his new life there.
In the afternoon, I went to the city centre with Yoko, Takeuchi-san, and Rihito.

This is the famous arcade.
８月はミラノ市民は皆バカンスに出かけており、
街中はガランとしていた。
The city was empty, as Milanese people are away on holidays in August.
