会社のクリスマス・パーティのカード作成で残業する．．．
パーティーは来週の金曜日だ。
今年のパーティの参加人数は230名で、過去最高だ。
カードの作成といっても、メッセージの書かれた紙に社長がサインし、それを大量コピーしてクリスマス・カードに貼り付けるといった単純作業だ。
このメッセージ．．．
メリークリスマスとは一言も書かれておらず、
まず最初に、「エコ・フレンドリーオフィスを宣言します」と始まり、
そして、「ゴミを減らし環境にやさしい生活を心がけてください」と、
クリスマスには全く関係ないメッセージが書かれている。
個人的にはかなりウケると思うし、
時代の潮流にも、バリバリ乗っていると思う。
I worked overtime preparing for the Christmas Party, which takes place on next Friday.
A total of 230 people is going to attend this year's party.
Today I was making the Christamas cards.
To make this task easy, we asked the two CEOs to sign on a paper with some message and
made hundreds of copies and simply pasted them on the cards.
The message written on the card is quite funny.
Instead of saying things like Merry Christams or Seasons Greetings,
the message starts with "we want our company to be more eco-friendly",
and then it goes on to saying "Please decrease the amount of garbage and become more eco friendly".
Personally, this is very funny.
And hey, environemnt is a very topical issue nowadays.
