ジョセフ・コンラッドのヴィクトリーを読んだ。
一年以上前にロンドンの古本屋で買った本だ。
主人公が島である悪者と戦うシーンで、テーマは愛だ。
プロットが単純で、あまり後味がよくなかった。
でも、最後のシーンはなかなかハラハラさせられた。
彼の他の本も読んでみよう。
I read Victory by Joseph Conrad.
I bought this book in a second hand book shop in London over a year ago.
It's about this guy's battle in an island and the theme for me was love.
I thought the plot was rather too simplistic, and I didn't like the ending.
The last few chapters were quite thrilling though.
I should read some other books by him.
