午前、図書館でチェーコフの短編集を借りてきた。
ヴィクトリア・スクエアを横切り、ニューストリートを通って、遠回りで帰ってきた。
普段見慣れた街の風景も、日本に帰ったら懐かしく思うのだろう。
夜、チリコンカルネを作ったのだが、唐辛子を買ってくるのを忘れ、チリなしコンカルネ、
いや、「コン」はwithの意味なので、単なる「カルネ」（＝肉）になってしまった。
単なる肉でも旨いものだ。
やはり僕の腕がいいんだろうなあ。
夜、Yusukeから電話があった。
「仕事をさぼって卒業式にきます」と伝えてくれた。
いやー仕事をさぼってまで卒業式にきてくれるとは、彼も友達想いな所があるなあ。
Went to Birmingham Central Library in the morning and borrowed Chekov's short stories.
I walked across the Victoria Square and down the New Street.
No matter how ordinary it may appear to me now, I guess I'll miss these city sceneries when I go back to Japan.
I cooked chili con carne in the evening, but forgot to buy chili, so it was non-chili con carne,
or rather (as con means 'with' in Spanish), just carne (=meat).
Yusuke gave me a call in the evening, he told me that he'll be coming up to Birmingham for my graduation, skiving off from work...
What a good friend he is.
