分厚い雲を抜けると、バーミンガムのネオンが目に映った。
飛行機からでると冷たい風が肌を湿らせ、
パスポート・コントロールで寒そうにしている帰国者達に
「welcome back to the UK」と声が掛けられた。
予定よりも３時間半も遅れ、部屋についたのは朝の５時半だった。
ピカソのLas Meninasを観てから既に１２時間が経っていた。
When the plane finally managed to pierce through the thick clouds,
the neon of Birmingham entered my eyes.
Looking at the freezing passengers at passport control, the guy goes,
