IKEAに両親と行ってきた。
IKEAは船橋と横浜にあるが、行き方がなんとなく分かるということで、今日は船橋のほうに行ってきた。
初めて高速を運転できるかとおもったのだが、運転している途中で、免許証を家に忘れてきたことに気がついて、
急遽父に運転を代わってもらう。免許取得１年目は、違反ポイントが少ないので、つかまったら面倒くさいことになる。
首都高速は、まるで迷路のようだ。
イギリスのラウンド・アバウトを思い出す。
もの凄い渋滞していて、結局家から３時間半もかかった。本当に疲れた。
かなり時間がかかったので、こうなればヤケ買いだ。
ソファー、本棚、洋服ダンス、CDラック、ライトスタンド、椅子、その他もろもろの小物を買った。
ソファー等は車に入らなかったので、送ってもらうことになった。
これが届けば、僕の部屋も部屋らしくなるに違いない。楽しみだ。
両親も家のもの凄いボロボロのソファーを取り替えることを決心したらしく、新しいソファーを購入した。
今日は一日IKEAでショッピングを楽しんだ。
Went to IKEA with my parents today.
There are two IKEAs in Japan, one is Funabashi (in Chiba prefecture) and another in Yokohama.
We went to the one in Funabashi today, as my dad claimed he knew how to get there.
Well, he did know how to get there, but unfortunately, the roads were badly congested, it took us
a total of three and half hours! Damn Japanese public holidays.
As for my driving, I was excited to drive on the motor way for the first time,
however, as I was driving I realised that I forgot to bring my driving license.
I didn't want to take the risk of getting caught, as the rules are quite strict in the first year of license acquisition.
There's a motor way that cuts right through the centre of Tokyo, which is like a maze and it reminded me of the
British round abouts, which are equally like a maze.
I was so stressed when I arrived at IKEA, that I bought a lot of stuff out of compulsion.
I bought a sofa, a bookshelf, CD rack, lightstand, a chair and other small stuffs.
The bigger furnitures didn't fit in the car, so I had to send them.
When they arrive, I'm sure my room will look more like a room.
My parents bought a sofa too, as our current one is getting very very old.
A very enjoyable day.
