武蔵大和駅で降り、道を歩いていたら、
一人の幼い子供が自転車でピューと僕の隣を走りさって行った。
こんな夜遅くに危ないぞ、と思ったら、
先に親がちゃんと待っていた。
体寄り添って歩く親子の姿が、とても暖かかった。
A very cold night.
As I was walking back home from Musashiyamato station,
a small girl cycled passed me.
Just when I said in my mind, how dangerous such a small girl to be alone at such a time of night,
I saw her father waiting for her ahead.
Now the two figures in front of me, a girl and her father walking along, looked extremely warm.
