午前11時から、日比谷国際クリニックにて、健康診断を受けてきた。
朝食ナシはきつい。暑いなか、飲み物も飲んではいけないのは拷問に等しい。
少し早く到着したので、近くの公園で音楽を聞きながら時間を潰す。
健康診断の直前に、トイレにいってしまい、尿検査で困ったことになった。
「すいません水を飲んでもよろしいですか」と許可を得、カップ4杯を一気にガブ飲みし、なんとか難所を乗り越えた。
健康診断が終わり、かなり腹が空いていたので、弁当を買い、日比谷公園の日本庭園でしばし昼飯タイム。
As one of the requirements from my company, I had to take a health check this morning at Hibiya International Clinic.
I had to skip my breakfast and no drinks were allowed either.
It's tough not being able to drink any water under this hot weather....
I arrived a bit early, so I killed time at a park near the clinic.
By mistake, I went to the toilet just before my appointment time, so I struggled with the urine test...
I asked for permission to drink some water and drank four cups of water in a row, and it worked!
After the health check, I had my lunch in Hibiya Park.
This Japanese garden was beautiful.
会社のあるビルから、国会議事堂まではさほど遠くない。
The Diet is within a walking distance from my company.
夕方、ゾムの中学時代の友人のAtsushi君が家に遊びに来た。
彼は今四国にある大学で勉強しており、夏休みの間しばらく東京に帰ってきているらしかった。
In the evening, Atsushi, my brother Zome's friend from middle school came to visit.
He is currently studying at a university in Shikoku, and he is back in Tokyo during the summer.
お土産に、コアラのマーチとリンゴジュースをいただいた。
四国には全く関係ない！
でも美味い！
As a souvenir, he brought some chocolate biscuits (Koala's march, a famous Japanese snack) and some apple juice.
Which has nothing to do with Shikoku, but it doesn't matter!
