朝の朝食はおもしろかった。
例のフランス人のオーナーが、宿泊者の紹介をしたりして、場を盛り上げていた。
日本人も一人いて、席を一緒にした。
しかし今回の洪水で困っているようだった。
午前は街をぶらぶらと歩き回った。
シェイクスピアの生家を見学した。
シェイクスピアの生い立ちや家族構成がかなり細かく説明されていて、勉強になった。
Trinity Churchには、シェイクスピアのお墓があった。
We walked around the town in the morning.
We visited Shakespere's birthplace.
Adjacent to the birthplace house, there was a museum.
The museum exhibits how Shakespere grew up and about his family members.
We went to Trinity Church which houses Shakespere's gravestone.
昼食には駅の近くのホテルのティールームで再びクリームティーを食べた。
ここのクロッテド・クリームはよく冷えていてうまかった。
午後１時４０分頃の電車に乗り、ロンドンへ向かう。
We had cream tea for lunch in a hotel near the station.
We took the 13:40 train to London.
ロンドンには4時頃到着。
晩御飯には、日本食のラーメンを食べた。やはり日本食は最高！
夜はLes Miserableを観た。当日券が買えてよかった。
中学生にみたときよりも、話が理解でき、音楽もけっこう覚えていたので、感動した。
We arrived in London at around four.
We had dinner in a Japanese restaurant.
And in the evening, we watched Les Miserables.
I understood it a lot better compare to last time I saw when I was a teenager.
