教会に行く。
ヨハネによる福音書１章から中島先生がメッセージを行った。
Went to church in the
morning.
Pastor Nakajima gave a message from John
chapter 1.
教
会のバザーが来週末に近づいて来たということで、現在もの凄い量のバザーで売る品々が集まっている。
その値付け作業が大変そうだった。
As the church bazaar is
approaching, there
is currently tremendous amount of goods in the storage.
Putting price tags on each one of them seemed
to be a daunting task.
教
会後、父とゾムが部屋に来た。
大学のノートや教科書類がまだたくさんあったので、今日も運べるだけ運んだ。
更に、椅子も一つ運んだ。
今までは、座り心地が決してよいとは言えない背もたれのない丸い椅子を使っていたので、
これでもうすこし落ち着くだろう。
I still had loads of notes from the
university as well as mountains of books to bring;
I managed to move as much as
possible today.
I brought a comfy chair from my house too
(until yesterday, I only had this round stool,
with no back rest), so I should
be able to relax better.
今
日、祖父母から新生活の応援ということで、お金をいただいた。
キャッシュフローで悩んでいたので、本当に助かります。有難うございます。
父とゾムが帰った後、そのお金を持ってさっそく新宿の無印良品でスタイリッシュ且つシンプルなデザインのベッドを購入した。
現在、部屋に何もなく、帰宅しても落ち着かないが、ベッドが入れば少しはホームリーになるだろう。
配達は今週末なので、今週はそれを楽しみにしながら頑張ることにしよう。
My grandparent gave me
some money today,
praying good wishes to my new living.
I
was (again) in a cashflow crisis, so this money helped me a lot. Thank you very much!
After my dad and Zome went home, I went to
Muji in Shinjuku and bought a bed, a simple but a stylish one.
This should make my room a bit more homely
(and habitable).
無
印を出て、紀伊国屋で仕事の業務に関連した本を一冊買う。
今週もどうも暇になる感じがするので、開いた時間を使って、勉強しよう。
暇対策には打ってつけの分厚い本にした。
I got out of Muji and
went to Kinokuniya (a
book shop) and bought a book relating to my work.
I have this hunch that this is going to be
another boring week, so this book should become a good company.
I bought thickest one, just in case (wink).

パーでコーヒー豆を買うのを忘れたので、それを買いに無印良品の近くにある伊勢丹の地下食品売り場に行ったが、
予想以上に高級奥様風で驚いた。
マスクメロンが16800円で売られており、
単なるメロンが８０ポンドもする所でコーヒー豆を買う必要もないと思ったので
（どうぜ、場所代が加算されてるんだ！）、そそくさ出てきた。
父がお勧めの、コーヒー専門店でコロンビア産の豆を試しに100g買った。
I forgot to buy coffee
beans in the
supermarket today, so I went to Isetan department store to get one.
But unexpectedly, this Isetan store was like
an equivalent of Fortnum and Masons in London, I mean a melon was sold
for
16800 yen! (80 pounds).
Since I didn’t
feel the need of buying coffee beans in this kind of store, so instead,
I went
to my dad’s recommended specialized coffee shop and bought 100g of
Columbia
beans.
夜、
一週間分のアイロンをかけた。
さて今週も、適度に働きますか。
In the evening, I ironed
my shirts. Start of a new week, how
depressing.
